Position Overview

Title: Freelance Sales Executive – International
Status: Independent Contractor (Freelance)
Workload: Part-time (flexible)
Location: 100% Remote
Compensation: Monthly retainer + competitive variable commission
Reports to: COO

Role Description

You will be responsible for developing and closing new business for Listn, focusing on international clients within the music industry. This role combines prospecting, account management, and negotiation, with a strong emphasis on autonomy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

·       Identify and develop new business opportunities in the music sector (labels, distributors, managers, agencies).

·       Generate leads through networking, digital outreach, events, and referrals.

·       Qualify client needs and propose tailored Listn solutions.

·       Negotiate and close deals, ensuring margin targets and internal processes are respected.

·       Deliver high-quality client follow-up to maximize satisfaction and retention.

·       Collaborate closely with the leadership to relay market feedback.

·       Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets.

Candidate Profile

·       Experience: 3–5 years in the music industry, especially in sales, distribution, or digital marketing.

·       Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Bilingualism required.

Skills

o   Strong sales acumen, negotiation, and closing abilities.

o   Solid understanding of the music ecosystem (labels, distribution, marketing, influence).

o   Results-driven and able to work independently.

o   Proficient with digital tools (Slack, Workspace, Monday App, Zapier..).

o   Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Assets

o   Experience in music marketing or distribution.
